This is a working blog, housing the progress to two aspiring (handsome) animators studying art at the University of Oregon. Slow and steady wins the race, as we hope to see.
Here it is, the first step on our epic journey. This is my first attempt at getting the "flow" down. I'm sure some (or all) of this will change. Remember this moment.
Some thoughts...MORE CUTs to start with. Especially around 15 seconds I think you need a second camera angle. Also, the pacing seems very even. The sponge will feel more anthropomorphic once you include some faster and slower paces at different times. I would consider an analogous model in classic music - different tempos and amplitudes create a wider range of sounds.
I know this is very preliminary, but I figure the more feedback in the beginning, the better.

Russel's got mulitple versions in the pipe. A few very simple versions, too. Feedback on those would be great too. thanks, John
